Polres Luwu Lakukan Penanaman Pohon , AKBP Arisandi : Sebagai Wujud Komitmen Polri Terhadap Lingkungan Hidup
JP Luwu – Polres Luwu melaksanakan penghijauan dengan aksi penanaman pohon di Bukit Kota Belopa Kec Belopa Kab. Luwu serta di beberapa lokasi Polsek jajaran, Rabu (23/ 8/ 2023).
Penanaman ini dilakukan secara serentak di seluruh Indonesia mulai dari tingkat Mabes Polri, Polda hingga Polres dan Polsek Jajaran sebagai wujud komitmen Polri dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan alam dalam rangka HUT RI ke-78. dengan mengusung tema “Polri Lestarikan Negeri Penghijauan Sejak Dini”.
Kegiatan penghijauan penanaman berbagai pohon sebanyak 1231, dengan berbagai jenis pohon dipimpin Wakapolres Luwu Kompol La. Makkanenneng dan dilaksanakan secara serentak bersama Polsek Jajaran Polres Luwu. Tak luput dari lokasi penanaman pohon yaitu hutan penelitian Simoma di dusun Lare-lare desa Temboe kec. Larompong Selatan yang beberapa waktu yang lalu dirusak oleh oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab.
Kapolres Luwu AKBP Arisandi, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si berharap melalui kegiatan in8 dapat memberikan daya dukung lingkungan di tengah pesatnya pembangunan dan industri termasuk di wilayah Kabupaten Luwu. Melalui Waka Polres Luwu Kompol La Makkanenneng, S.E, mengungkapkan
“Tujuan utama dari kegiatan penghijauan ini adalah untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan hidup serta berperan dalam upaya antisipasi terhadap dampak pemanasan global dan menghadapi perubahan iklim,” ujarnya.
Perlu diketahui bahwa delegasi dari Asian Crime Prevention Foundation yang turut menghadiri acara tersebut secara daring yang dipimpin oleh Kapolri Jenderal Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
Turut hadir para Kabag Polres Luwu, para Kasat Polres Luwu, Pengurus Bhayangkari Cab. Luwu, Dinas Kehutanan Kab. Luwu, Sat. Pol PP Kab. Luwu, beberapa tokoh masyarakat setempat serta Kapolsek jajaran yang bergabung dengan unsur pimpinan di tingkat kecamatan masing-masing.(*)
